2011 Diamond Dancers

The Diamond Dancers were the second professional dance team in Major League Baseball. The dancers perform a different dance routine before the National Anthem at all Friday home games and all summer Saturday games. They also do a kickline on top of the dugout during seventh inning stretch. You will see the team throughout the ball park doing different promotions and even in the parking lots before the game. Four dancers are at every single home game doing in stand promotions and giveaways.
Typically auditions are held each year in February. The team is made up of 27 women ages 18 to 30. All have danced at different colleges, high schools or through studios. Our dancers have come from all over Wisconsin. The team practices two days a week.
The Diamond Dancers pride themselves on not only being a team that is good at dancing/performing but also chooses to give back and help the community and all different charities. In 2011 alone, we had 25 different events that we took part in including those helping the MACC Fund, Elmbrook Humane Society, Pancreatic Cancer Network, the Ronald McDonald house and many more.
There is also a Junior Diamond Dancer program where kids ages 4-14 get a chance to perform at a game.
